I'm Meg Conkling, a curly-haired millennial originally from Westchester, New York, and happy to be living in the Brandon/Tampa, Florida area.
As an independent woman immersed in hustle culture, I understand the importance of reclaiming your 'Me' time and releasing stress from the demanding world. That's why I've crafted Curly Hair Alchemist to be a cozy and relaxing experience, leaving you feeling recharged and reconnected to yourself.

With over 13 years of experience as a Curl Artist, I'm truly obsessed with what I do and who I do it for! My expertise lies in low maintenance transformation curly haircuts and styling, as well as coaching education on curly hair care. Through this infused methodology, we foster a healthy curly hair mindset, healing hair trauma and empowering you with curl confidence.

While most curl specialists offer a great first visit and a solid maintenance plan, I approach my role as your stylist differently. I work collaboratively with all my guests to create a long-term plan that ensures your shape, health, and style always look fresh. You'll never feel bored or stuck in a routine. I'll be there for you throughout the year, checking in to address any new issues that may arise, and together, we'll overcome them.
