HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

Visit Salon Services page.

Select Book Appointment tab--Select Service--View Availability--Select Date/Time--Double Check Date/Time--Fill out best contact information--Credit card is used to hold your appointment--Agree to Cancellation Policy--

You shall receive notification that Curly Hair Alchemist Studio is reviewing your appointment request. Look for a follow-up message soon.

HOW DO I RESCHEDULE/CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

Select link that was sent by our automated assistant. From there you can review--add to your personal calendar--book another appointment--reschedule--cancel appointment.

DO I GET CONFIRMATIONS BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

Yes, our automated assistant reminds you to confirm via email.



I CANNOT GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR A BIT,IS THERE A WAITING LIST?

At this time we do not manage a waitlist as we have found it to be more of use of our client's time if they continue to revisit the online calendar to book an appointment. 

WHY IS A CREDIT CARD NEEDED TO SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

This secures your spot and all information is private and not used without permission of client.

You are not required to save your card on file, however you are required to agree to the policies that are stated on our Policies Page.

I WAS CHARGED A FEE WHEN I NEVER CAME TO MY APPOINTMENT. I DID NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO USE MY CARD.

The box selected that you agree to policies, this is why you were charged a non-refundable fee for not showing up for your appointment. Curly Hair Alchemist Studio is not responsible for clients not cancelling their appointments.

I WAS CHARGED A FEE FOR CANCELING DUE TO AN EMERGENCY. WHY?!

Upon scheduling your appointment, you have agreed to our Policies.

For an emergency, we will hold your last-minute cancellation fee as a credit to your account for 45 days from the canceled date. That store credit will dissolve upon that 45 days.

CAN I CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE VIA EMAIL?

These requests are not guaranteed approval due to many factors. All guests are responsible to cancel their own appointments. You can do so very easily by visiting your email or sms message for your appointment.

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE I ARRIVE?

Yes, please read Salon Services page for more information located throughout the page.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STYLE MY HAIR FOR MY APPOINTMENT!

The Salon Services page can help you learn the essentials to styling your hair before arrival time.

CAN I CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE ONLINE?

Yes, please review your sms message or email to make those changes.


THERE'S A POSSIBILITY I WILL BE LATE DUE TO THE TRAFFIC, IS THERE A GRACE PERIOD?

We kindly ask you plan accordingly especially when you know you are traveling during high traffic time frames. If you know for sure you will be late, please know you have until 24 hours before your appointment time to re-schedule with our booking system. We do not offer a grace period and non-refundable fees do apply.

IS THERE A WAY TO BOOK MY SISTER AND MOM AT THE SAME TIME?

Each guest can be booked directly after each other by selecting multiple services and you will have those times booked alongside one another. If it is all under name we look forward to meeting you all.

CAN I BRING MY FAMILY MEMBERS TO MY APPOINTMENT?

I kindly ask that your family enjoy the neighborhood shops and restaurants while they wait for your appointment to be completed. We have other guests in the salon who come to enjoy the relaxation and solitude from their busy lives. Thank you for understanding.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

If allergies did not exist we would be thrilled to have fury friends. Due to state regulations we cannot allow animals. However we do honor Service Dogs and they would need proof of their licensure.

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR MY HAIR?

Meg will discuss more about what products are best for your hair after a thorough observation during your scheduled appointment. However, we can assist you on what ingredients to look out for. By checking the ingredients in your haircare products the top 4 ingredients to stay away from are as listed; Isopropyl alcohol, Propanol, PEG(all numbers), Sodium Laural Sulfate.

I PURCHASED PRODUCTS ONLINE AND THEY HAVEN'T SHIPPED YET.. ARE THEY COMING?

You receive emails directly from TEAM CHA as they are handled and updates to when they are shipped are discussed with you directly. Please re-load your inbox to find these messages awaiting your attention.


WILL MY HAIR LOOK GOOD STRAIGHTENED AFTER A CURLY CUT?

Yes our haircuts do. However, we don't guarantee nor promise end results to be flawless for a blow out. If you'd like to have the option and it is very important to you, we may not be the best fit for you.

DOES THE STUDIO OFFER HAIR COLOR SERVICES?

Our services are haircuts and scalp treatments. If that changes we will sure make a public announcement of these updates.

DO YOU TAKE KIDS? ARE THERE KID'S PRICES?

Yes I take children, and they are the same price as all other ages. You and your child will leave with so much needed education, this will build confidence in your child for the rest of their lives.

ARE MEN ALLOWED AS CLIENTS IN YOUR SALON?

ALL GENDERS are allowed at the salon. I simply ask you are not expecting shorter haircuts under 3 inches. I am not a barber and prefer to work with all masculine individuals who want to work with their curls, not cut them off.

I HAD CHEMO AND MY HAIR GREW IN CURLY, IS THIS NORMAL? CAN YOU HELP ME?

I know going through treatment is painful, especially when you have experienced losing your hair. I am very equipped to work with your new hair and would be honored to work with you as you continue to grow in thicker and healthier.
