I’ve put together a list of product recommendations to support your continued success on your curl journey! 🌿✨

🌱Things to Keep in Mind:

📍Clarifying with Undo-Goo- Clarify 1 to 2x’s a month to remove product build up. This chelating clarifier has to be followed up with your regular shampoo and conditioner. It also works great to use before a scalp treatment.

📍Shampoo&Condition

✨You’ll use your regular shampoo 2-3X’S a week and remember to apply the product from roots to ends in a downward motion, while adding water to help spread evenly and smooth through the ends. Your lather should be on the scalp and ends to clean the entire head of hair. No you will not dry out.  Condition directly after. Rinse out until water is clear. Avoid hyper rinsing.

📍Styling

✨ Remember water / product ratio is key. On wet hair load the hair with your styler and pay attention to to amount you use. Whatever product I recommended to begin with, you’ll start with that product and take your time evenly distributing throughout. Don’t take shortcuts and rush! Smooth your hair and organize your hair to help eliminate frizz. Once applied and it feels organized,  section hair and create the size of curls you desire. Remember: learn from too much product vs too little. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Have the awareness during your styling session to learn from them. 

 

📍Diffusing

✨Diffuse with low or medium heat and low fan. Be patient. If you want more volume lean your head over from side to side. If your hair takes a very long time to dry, hover over the roots to begin getting the heavy water out. STOP over-touching your hair when you want it to dry faster. Put in your ear pods and listen to a podcast or audiobook to kill time.
